Obviously, the race for the most enormous infotainment screen will probably never come to an end. However, several images shared by The Korean Car Blog reveal that the all-new design of the next-gen Tucson might have a shot at the title with its cockpit equipped with a gigantic screen. In March 2018, Tesla came up with the Model S and Model X including features like video streaming on a 17-inch touchscreen, which wasn’t bad at all. But the Tucson seems to be raising the bar even higher.
Spy pics reveal that Hyundai seems to be the latest automaker to jump on the big-screen cabin trend. Well, the exact date of the next Tucson’s is not yet out, an alleged teaser sketch has been discovered of the new Tucson from a French forum – World Scoops. The new sketch reveals the new-gen Hyundai Tucson interior, which looks futuristic in many ways and contains a lot of display screens – on the center of the dashboard and on the instrument console which looks like a free-standing touchscreen display also used for other controls like air conditioning. The instrument console is quite minimalist and clutter-free. The SUV looks similar to the next-gen of MBUX like the 2021 Mercedes S-Class, which was officially revealed this month.
Aside from the futuristic screens and displays, the new-gen Hyundai Tucson will also receive a huge protruding radiator grille with gem-like shapes turn indicators and trunk grille similar to the Grandmaster concept. The dual headlamp set up is also present. It has squarish fenders, Z-shaped character lines, and gleaming tail lamps connected via a full-width light stripe coming out of them.
