Ahead of its September 3rd launch, Jeep has released teaser images of its upcoming Grand Wagoneer, displaying a glass roof and shiny interior air vent. Its launch will coincide with the unveiling of the plug-in-hybrid Jeep Wrangler 4xe.
This isn’t the first time Jeep has provided a preview of its upcoming SUV. Earlier, too, a set of images were released, revealing other aspects of the much-awaited family wagon.
The latest set of images gives us a preview of the roof, a piece of darkened translucent glass that runs from the front to the rear end of the car. Even though the bigger picture here is that of the roof, a lot of other fine details are also up for observation. One of them includes a two-tone exterior color.
The roof is blackish in texture while the lower half of the car is white, something similar to the past Grand Wagoneer. As visible from the top, the seating arrangement of the vehicle appears to be a three-row layout with a total of six seats.
An image revealing a hint of the interior design has a chrome-covered air vent hogging most of the space. It tends to indicate that chrome-covered inserts will be present in other parts besides the infotainment knobs.
It’s’s universally known that the Grand Wagoneer will initially be available in two different versions, namely the Grand Wagoneer and the Wagoneer. It has been stated that Jeep, with its upcoming offering, is looking to go head-to-head against the Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon.
Also, the Grand Wagoneer is expected to be offered with two engine variants, a V6 and a V8 with hybrid and plug-in-hybrid powertrain options that should be made available sometime in the future.
The Jeep Grand Wagoneer is going to be revealed on the manufacturer’s YouTube account at 9 a.m. EDT on September 3rd.
Keep your eyes peeled!
