Mitsubishi is set for a full revitalization of its lineup.
Mitsubishi Motors announced that it would soon launch three revised vehicles and one wholly redesigned vehicle. Moreover, all of these cars will now come with Forward Collision Mitigation with Pedestrian Detection as standard equipment. The company will introduce all cars by the end of the second quarter of 2021.
2021 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport
Mitsubishi will upgrade the Outlander Sport significantly. The model will receive an updated interior as well as exterior design. That being said, the most significant changes will be in the trim levels, all of which will get more standard equipment.
The Outlander Sport finished in the top three 2020 JD Power IQS Study in the small SUV class. It has been Mitsubishi’s best-selling model, and the new modifications in styling and design should help cement its position.
2022 Mitsubishi Outlander
The all-new next-generation Outlander 2022 will be on sale sometime in Q2 2021. With the new model, Mitsubishi announced that it focused on quietness and lavish equipment. That’s great because the Outlander is already a trendy vehicle among family customers.
Besides, the crossover will also boast Mitsubishi’s new design language, which looks sportier and a little more dynamic.
2021 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV
Mitsubishi will upgrade its best-selling model, including a new powertrain. The revised model will receive an updated internal combustion engine and an extended all-electric range. For reference, the current model can travel up to 28-miles on electricity alone.
Meanwhile, the Japanese manufacturer will also make revisions to the trim levels. This model will be on sale in fall 2020.
2021 Mitsubishi Mirage and Mirage G4
The upgraded Mirage and Mirage G4 are set to be on sale in the first quarter of 2021. The city cars will go through an extensive exterior upgrade. Moreover, the Mirage will also get highly more standard equipment.
“Mirage has never looked richer or better equipped, with bold styling and standard safety equipment,” said the manufacturer in a statement.
The small city car remains the US’s most fuel-efficient non-hybrid gasoline-fueled vehicle.
2022 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross
Eclipse Cross will get substantial upgrades, too, with extensive modifications in the front and rear. Mitsubishi aimed at making the car sportier and a little more modern.
Mitsubishi also upgraded the crossover with a new infotainment system and refreshed interior. The model will go on sale in the first quarter of 2021.
The Japanese manufacturer will release more information on each vehicle on their respective global launch events.
