Mercedes is now accepting orders for its all-new 2021 Mercedes-Benz S-Class in the European markets, where deliveries are expected to begin next December.
The classy sedan was unveiled earlier this month with a clear aim of pushing the boundaries for technological innovations and luxury. Interestingly enough, some of the car features are too advanced and do not have specific regulations for them in some countries yet, including all-new digital lights with around 2.6 million pixels.
The regulation problem is slated to change soon, though, as the German automaker accepts orders in Europe for its all-new top-of-the-line sedan. The process will start with Europe, while more details are expected to be released soon regarding the US market.
Mercedes-Benz’s upcoming flagship model will feature many accessories and fantastic tech, including a 3D Driver display, a head-up display with augmented reality content, and ambient lighting with 250 LEDs. Along with that, users will get a taste of MBUX Interior Assist, which is a system capable of recognizing the driver’s control inputs by using cameras and advanced algorithms. The car will also feature rear-axle steering for better maneuverability and a revolutionary Digital Light headlight technology.
The S-Class will be offered in two different variants — S500 4MATIC and S580 4MATIC. The S500 4MATIC will feature a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, producing 429 horsepower and 384 lb-ft of torque. The S580 4MATIC, on the other hand, produces 495 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. Not bad for a luxury sedan!
The overseas pricing of the base variant will start at € 93,438, but at this price, it will miss most of the brand-new features on offer. However, all the variants’ complete pricing will be released soon for different markets, but the 500 4MATIC’s price starting from €117,786 can already give you a good idea — it won’t be cheap.
The new Mercedes-Benz S-Class looks absolutely mind-blowing, and its features will undoubtedly leave most people intrigued. Needless to say, we are all hoping to see this beauty on the roads soon.
